Wobridge Academy

Programmes at Wobridge

A programme for each English goal

Wobridge teaches IELTS, TOEIC, VSTEP, TOEFL and SAT preparation as well as everyday English. Each programme runs at several levels and in both small groups and one-to-one, so you start from where you are rather than from a shared milestone.

Six programmes

Which programme do you need?

The six groups below differ in the exam they lead to and in what you will use the English for — not in how hard they are. Pick the group closest to your goal to see the courses inside it.

Study formats

Study the way that suits you

Format is a separate axis from programme: every programme runs both in small groups and one-to-one. The three below do not replace one another — most learners take a main class and then add one of the other two for whatever they are weakest at.

Online study

Add exactly the skill you need

You do not always need to redo a whole programme. E-learning courses run across all six programmes, each one focused on a single skill and taken on your own schedule — alongside a main class, or on their own when only one area is left to shore up.

How we work with you

Your journey at Wobridge

These five steps repeat as a cycle rather than running once: the last step comes back and adjusts the very path built in step three.

  1. Assess your level

An entry test covering each skill your chosen programme measures, producing an ability profile rather than a single overall number.

  2. Set the target

Match the real requirement of the university, scholarship or job against the time you have, and settle on a target you can reach.

  3. Build the path

Choose the programme, the starting stage, the course and the order of priority across skills, based on the gap between the two steps above.

  4. Study, practise, get corrected

Class time, work in the practice rooms, and every piece of writing or speaking corrected against the marking criteria of your programme.

  5. Review progress and adjust

Measure again with regular mock tests, compare with the entry profile, then revise the parts of the path that are off track.
