Overview

What this course is

Task 2 carries two thirds of the Writing mark, and most learners lose that mark not because their English is weak but because the essay has no argument. This course starts at the root: read the prompt to see what it actually asks, commit to a position in one sentence, and only then build the outline. You write part by part first — an introduction on its own, a single body paragraph on its own — and assemble the whole essay afterwards. That order exposes broken reasoning early, which is very hard to see when you reread a long finished piece.
