VSTEP is Vietnam's own English proficiency exam, set against the national six-level framework and used for degree requirements, postgraduate applications and public-sector files.
The four points below describe the VSTEP.3-5 paper — the exam our four courses prepare you for.
Listening, reading, writing and speaking all appear, and the final result is calculated from all four.
Writing is a letter or email plus an essay. Speaking covers social interaction, discussing solutions, and developing a topic.
Levels 3, 4 and 5 correspond to B1, B2 and C1 on the European framework — not a numeric score as in TOEIC or TOEFL.
Run by licensed universities, so dates and costs are usually easier to arrange than for the international papers.
