You know what all four skills ask
Three listening parts, four reading passages, two writing tasks and three speaking parts, along with how each is marked.
You can write a letter and a short essay
Both writing tasks are built from sentence and paragraph level before length and structure come into it.
You can finish a spoken turn
Practice starts with short answers in familiar situations, so you do not stall halfway through on the day.
Grammar and vocabulary that serve all four parts
The base is learnt once and reused across all four skills instead of being studied section by section.

Grammar and vocabulary
- Tenses and basic sentence patterns, systematically
- Compound and complex sentences and linking words — the base of both writing and speaking
- Vocabulary for the topics the paper returns to

- The three listening parts and their question types
- Four reading passages: length, subject matter and time
- Listening and reading for information, without pressing on speed yet
First steps in Writing
- Task 1 letters and email: structure and the standard opening and closing lines
- Task 2 essays: building a paragraph with a topic sentence and support
- Marking for grammar and word choice
First steps in Speaking
- Part 1 — questions about yourself and familiar situations
- Pronunciation, word stress and sentence intonation
- Speaking in complete turns rather than single clipped sentences

Entry assessment
A test across all four skills before placement, so we know where a student stands and what is missing.
Learning path
The target broken into stages with checkpoints, rather than a single number waiting at the end of the course.
Practice
Every lesson includes work done in class; theory never occupies a lesson on its own.
Feedback
Writing and speaking marked against the assessment criteria of the exam being prepared, with each fault attached to a named criterion.
Progress tracking
Results are recorded skill by skill through the course, so it is visible which part is moving and which is not.
Mock test
A paper sat in the real format and to the real timings, then talked through afterwards.
