Overview

What this course is

What sets TOEFL iBT apart from other exams is not the difficulty of its vocabulary but its INTEGRATED tasks: you read a passage, hear a lecture that contradicts the passage you just read, and then have to write or speak about the relationship between the two sources. No single skill prepares you for that. The course also spends time on the exam INTERFACE itself: everything happens on screen, you type your answers, you speak into a microphone against a countdown, and taking notes on scratch paper is a skill you have to train rather than a habit you already have.
