Overview
This is the section that stops the SAT from being a language exam: half the marks are maths. For Vietnamese students the mathematical content is usually NOT the obstacle — the obstacle is reading the question in English, especially the long word problems that describe a situation before they ask anything. So the course does not reteach mathematics from scratch. It teaches mathematical terminology in English, how to turn a word problem into an equation, and the four content groups the test distributes its questions across — algebra, problem solving and data analysis, advanced algebra, and geometry and trigonometry.
