Overview

What this course is

TOEIC measures English at WORK, and that is what makes this course different from a general beginner course: the vocabulary follows office situations — meeting schedules, purchase orders, internal notices, business trips — rather than classroom topics. The course stops at 350 points and says so plainly. Its goal is to get you to the point where you can READ the questions and catch the main idea when listening — the point where practice tests start to be worth anything. Practising before that is just getting answers wrong and looking them up.
