In this part of the test, you will be given a situation and three options. You have 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to speak. Compare the options, say what is good and bad about each, then choose one and explain why.

    Situation: Situation: Your friend is in hospital, and you would like to buy him a gift. There are three options: flowers, colored pencils and a sketchbook, or healthy snacks. Discuss the options and decide which one would be the best gift.

In this part of the test, you will develop a topic using the ideas in the diagram, plus one idea of your own. You have 1 minute to prepare and about 4 minutes to speak. The examiner will then ask you some follow-up questions.
