Overview

What this course is

A course for learners meeting the Listening paper for the first time. Instead of jumping straight into full tests, it starts with what you have to be able to hear first: strings of numbers, dates, addresses and spelled-out names — the group of details that carries most of the marks in Section 1, and the group most often lost to spelling. Every lesson follows the same shape: listen to a short extract, check it against the transcript, then listen again to find what your ear skipped. You finish the course able to complete Sections 1 and 2 within real exam timing.
