A full sentence first
The first requirement is a complete sentence, right tense, subject in place; higher-level vocabulary comes once that is a habit.

Everyday speaking · Pre-IELTS
Main strength
Gets complete beginners to full sentences, with one correction per turn and no more.
Leads the everyday speaking and Pre-IELTS classes, working on saying a complete sentence before worrying about advanced vocabulary.
Introduction
Two years of teaching, leading the everyday speaking and Pre-IELTS classes. At this stage the goal of a session is a complete sentence — advanced vocabulary can wait until the sentence stands up on its own.
Beginners tend to hold back for fear of getting it wrong, so sessions are built around everyday topics where everyone already has something to say. For students carrying on to Pre-IELTS the topics shift gradually towards the range of the paper, while the method stays the same.
In the classroom
The first requirement is a complete sentence, right tense, subject in place; higher-level vocabulary comes once that is a habit.
The first topics come from everyday life so students already have something to say, before moving towards exam topics.
Each turn gets one point to fix — a beginner given several errors at once will simply stop speaking.
